I wrote this in October, to a business leader.
A vegan business woman who wrote to me asking me “how can i help”. As she loves the idea of Lovedesh. And I loved her response. But as always, I say it, as I see it.
This is what I wrote back.
“Re the vegan – we need vegans to take responsibility that in the pursuit of veganism – modern day slavery continues to flourish and unwittingly and sadly they are complicit in structural racism too.
“And I know vegans are good people but sadly it is blind leading the blind. Shocking – and why Lovedesh is taking rampant action to educate, inspire and deliver solutions. And bringing grassroot voices to the debate to prove this is the case?
“Yes – veganism is also complicit in racism and slavery and if you do not know – then find out. Lovedesh workshops are coming soon.
Oops.
Sometimes I should keep quiet. But the good news? She and I are talking next week
